The preparation of the following selenides of vanadium has been claimed in an American patent, but no details or analytical data are given: V₂Se (white), V₂Se₂ (yellow), V₂Se₃ (red), V₂Se₄ (dark blue), V₂Se₅ (green), V₂Se₈.
